Day 01
- Mendoza
Reception at the airport and private transportation service to the chosen hotel with bilingual guide. In the afternoon, we will enjoy the “Visit to the City” excursion in a private service with a bilingual guide. The tourist circuit of the city and surroundings enables us to make contact with a modern city, known by its trees, its wide sidewalks and cleanliness. This tour is about the history and culture of a city founded by colonists more than four centuries ago. We will visit places like La Alameda, Foundational Area (Pedro del Castillo Square), the main avenues, the heart of the city center, Independencia Square, Civic Neighborhood, and Emilio Civit Avenue, where we can access General San Martín Park through the gates. In the park, we will walk through the coppices, the rose garden, the lake, and clubs until we get to La Gloria Hill where we can see the monument to Ejército Libertador and Frank Romero Day Greek Theater. Then, we will go to El Challao, where we can visit the Virgin of Lourdes Church, the religious place that attracts many people. Return to the hotel. At night, dinner can be enjoyed at Francis Mallman 1884 restaurant or a similar one, including starter, main course, dessert, coffee or tea and soda or juice, mineral water or a beer. Day 02 - Mendoza
Breakfast. After breakfast, private transportation service with bilingual guide is offered to the “Golf Club Andino” golf course, 1st golf round, green fee and caddie included. After the round, private transportation service with bilingual guide is offered to the hotel. At noon, we will enjoy “The Origin of Wine” excursion in a private service with a bilingual guide. It has been a long time since Bacco and Ulyses, the elaboration methods have changed but the pleasure to enjoy a genuine wine is still the same. This tour enables us to walk through vineyards, to learn about the origin of this delicious elixir and to enjoy a lunch in Zuccardi Wine Cellar. The lunch includes a variety of cheeses and olives, empanadas (meat pie), asado criollo (Argentinean barbecue) and desserts. Everything is home made and there will be five types of wines to taste. Day 03 - Mendoza
Breakfast. After breakfast, private transportation service with bilingual guide is offered to the “Golf Club Andino” golf course, 2nd golf round, green fee and caddie included. After the round, private transportation service with bilingual guide is offered to the hotel. Free afternoon. Accommodation.
Day 04 -Mendoza
Full-day excursion “High Mountain through the River” in private service with bilingual guide. During the tour, we can enjoy the huge Potrerillos Dike. Located 100 kilometers from the capital, Uspallata is the scenery of Huarpe indigenous settlement during pre-Hispanic times. Near Uspallata, we can find Las Bóvedas, historical well-maintained adobe constructions, where Fray Luis Beltrán, chaplain of General San Martin’s Andes Army, forged the canyons and the weapons used to liberate Chile. After that, we will visit Pichueta, Polvaredas, and Punta de Vacas villages, where we can access to the famous Los Penitentes village. One of the ski centers, opened from June to August, is located 167 kilometers from the capital. Later, in Puente del Inca at 2,720 meters above the sea level, Las Cuevas river has bored through the mountain and formed a natural bridge where thermal water spouts from. Near this place, we can find Andes mountaineer’s cemetery. Near the border, there is a magnificent viewpoint where we can admire Aconcagua Hill. An unpaved road off the international road, takes us to the beautiful Horcones Lagoon and Aconcagua National Park. Following the international route, we find Horcones Customs Complex and some kilometers later, in the Chilean border, Las Cuevas city, a European-style city built at 3,200 meters above the sea level. There is a route between Las Cuevas and the international tunnel that takes to Chile. From this route and subject to weather conditions, we will climb up to Christ the Redeemer monument at 4,200 meters. This monument symbolizes the fraternity between Argentineans and Chileans. Lunch is included at the mountain
restaurant, including starter, main course, dessert, coffee or tea and soda or juice, mineral water or a beer. Return to Mendoza via the same route. Accommodation.
Day 05 - Mendoza
In due time, private transportation service to the airport with bilingual guide is offered to take the return flight. END OF SERVICES.
