“Buenos Aires” Region, the capital city of the Argentine Republic, is located on the southern hemisphere of the American continent. It lies between the latitude of 34º 36' and the longitude of 58º 26' with an area of 202 km2 over a flat land. The Río de la Plata and the Riachuelo are its natural borders to the east and to the south. General Paz Avenue is a beltway surrounding the region from north to west. It completes the border and quickly connects to the Gran Buenos Aires, a highly populated area with an important activity sector.
